 (a) If the part numbers are the same:

 - replace the DU-ECAM, UPPER (4WT1) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-400-001)

 (b) If the part numbers are not the same:

 - do the crossloading of the DMC1 to the upper ECAM DU (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-610-001)
 B. Do the test given in Para. 3.A

 (1) On the ECAM Control Panel (6WT):
 - turn the ECAM lower display potentiometer to the OFF position then to the BRT middle position. If the DISPLAY SYSTEM VERSION INCONSISTENCY message is not shown on the lower ECAM DU

 - no maintenance action is necessary.

 (a) If the DISPLAY SYSTEM VERSION INCONSISTENCY message is shown on the lower ECAM DU
 - do the following test.

 - Do the EIS System Test (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-740-004)

 4. Fault Isolation

 A. If the test gives the maintenance message INVALID LRU IDENT:

 (a) If the part numbers are the same:

 (b) If the part numbers are not the same:

 - no maintenance action is necessary.

 (b) If the DISPLAY SYSTEM VERSION INCONSISTENCY message is shown on the CAPT PFD DU, CAPT ND DU, F/O PFD DU, F/O ND DU, upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU

 - do the following test.

 - Do the EIS System Test (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-740-004)
