R (c) Torque the bolts (22) to between 0.34 and 0.395 m.daN (30.08 and R 34.95 lbf.in).
 (d) Install the refuel coupling-cap (6) on the coupling (7).
 (4) If dimension(s) 'x', 'y' and/or 'z' is/are incorrect:
 (a)
 Remove the refuel coupling-cap (6) from the coupling (7).

 (b)
 Hold the element assembly (19) and remove the bolts (22), the washers (21), the bolt (24) and the tab washer (23).

 (c)
 Remove the shroud-ring (20), the element assembly (19) and the laminated shim(s) (18).

 (d)
 Remove and discard the O-ring (17).

 (e)
 Adjust the thickness of the shim (18) until dimension 'x', 'y' and/or dimension 'z' is/are correct.

 NOTE : The maximum permitted thickness is 4.4 mm (0.173 in.).

 (f)
 Lubricate the new O-ring (17) with FUELS (Material No. 01-001) or COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012).

 (g)
 Install the O-ring (17) and the laminated shim(s) (18).
