 You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. TASK 28-00-00-910-001) when you do work on the fuel system.

 (2)
 Make sure a WARNING NOTICE is in position: - on the panel 40VU, to tell persons not to operate the fuel system - on the panel 25VU, to tell persons not to operate the APU - on the panel 800VU, to tell persons not to refuel the aircraft.

 (3)
 Access to the APU fuel line between FR41 and FR42.

 (a) Make sure that the floor panel 241HL is removed (Ref. TASK 53-32-12-000-002).

 (4)
 Access to the APU fuel line between FR42 and FR46.

 (a)
 Make sure the LH main landing-gear door is open (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

 (b)
 Make sure the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT) is in position below the LH main landing-gear compartment.

 

 (5)
 Access to the APU fuel line between FR42 and FR70.

 (a)
 Make sure the AFT cargo compartment door is open (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001) .

 (b)
 Make sure the applicable access panels are removed for the APU fuel line:

between the FR49 and FR52

 Make sure the access panel 314AR is open, if applicable.

 Make sure there is a CONTAINER 5 L(1 1/2 USGAL) in position below the applicable connections.

 (8)
 Make sure the APU fuel line is drained.

 (9)
 Make sure that the bonding straps (8) and (17) are put temporarily to stowage positions with tapes.
