To get access to the FIX INFO page push the FIX mode key on
the MCDU.
Fix Info Page Information
Line select key 1L shows the FIX prompt. The FIX identifier is
entered here by typing the identifier in the scratchpad and line
selecting it. These are the valid entries kept in the navigation
data base:
* Airports
SHZ ALL (POST SB 737-34-1650 AND PRE SB 737-34A1801) OR
PRE SB 737-34-1918
* Runway
SHZ ALL
* Navaids
* Waypoints (up to a maximum of six alphanumeric
characters).
After you enter the fix identifier, the bearing and distance from
that fix is shown in line 1 on the MCDU. The fix identifieris also
shown on the CDS navigation display.
Line select keys 2L through 4L are used by the flight crew to
enter bearings or distances from the fix identifier. The entered
data is again typed in the scratchpad and line selected.
These bearings and distances also are calculated and shown
from the fix identifier:
* Estimated time of arrival (ETA)
* Distance to the fix waypoint (DTG)
* Altitude (ALT) at the fix waypoint.
The specific radial is then shown on the CDS navigation
displays.
Line select key 5L shows the ABM prompt. Selection of this
prompt causes the FMC to calculate and show the abeam point
with these results:
* Bearing/distance
* ETA
* DTG
* Altitude at the abeam point.
Any of the fix waypoints in LSK 2L through 5L is line selected to
the scratchpad for possible use on the RTE or LEGS pages as a
waypoint.
The DELETE key is used to erase the FIX identifier and its
entries.

The second FIX INFO page lets the flight crew select a second
fix waypoint and enter the bearings and/or distances to that fix
waypoint. The FMC is limited to a maximum of two FIX INFO
pages.

General
The FMCS shows alerting or advisory messages when there is
a condition that degrades the system. The FMCS also shows
entry error and ACARS messages.
The messages are prioritized and show in the CDU scratch pad.
This is the priority:
* Data entry error advisory
* ACARS uplink alerting messages
* Alerting messages
* Advisory messages.
* ACARS status messages.
Entry error messages show that the entered data is not correct.
The message must first be cleared and then the data must be
entered correctly. These messages will only show on the CDU
on which the incorrect data entry was made. The MSG
annunciator on the CDU on which the invalid entry was made
will be on for these messages.
ACARS uplink alerting messages show the status of the current
uplink data. The MSG annunciators will be on for these
messages as well as the FMC warning lights on the autoflight
status annunciators (ASA).
Alerting messages show an FMC condition that must be shown
to the flight crew and corrected before further FMC operation is
advisable or possible. The MSG annunciators will be on for
these messages as well as the FMC warning lights on the
ASAs.
Advisory messages show the FMCS status and certain flight
profile parameters and requirements. The MSG annunciators
will be on for these messages.
ACARS status messages show ACARS system availablity and
status. The MSG annunciators will not be on for these
messages.
The message with the highest priority will show in the scratch
pad. If there are two messages of the same priority, the one that
occurred first will show. When it is cleared the next message
will show.
To clear a message, push the CLR key or remove the conditions
