(a) Bend the ends of the cable terminal retainers approximately 90 degrees to loosen the cable terminals. Remove the cover from the actuator mounting face on the torque switch mechanism.

Remove the cable guards from the torque switch mechanism.

 E. Install the Torque Switch Mechanism

Turn the quadrants of the torque switch mechanism to get access to the cable terminal holes.

Install a new cable terminal retainer in each of the terminal holes in the quadrants.

 (a)  Use corrosion preventive compound to hold the retainers in the correct position.

 (3)  Turn the quadrants counterclockwise until you can put the cable terminals in the grooves 1 and 4.
 (a)  Put the cable terminals into their holes.
