Pull the left hand collar away and inwards to disengage the boss from the keyhole slot.

 (d)  
Lift the shroud off the support blocks and disengage the bottom from the floor pan.

 (4)  AIRPLANES WITHOUT MODULAR LAVATORIES; Do these steps to remove the toilet back shroud
 (a)
In the forward lavatory, remove the fasteners (2 locations).

 1)  Remove the access panel for the toilet back shroud below the flush handle.

 (b)  
In the other lavatories, remove the toilet back shroud fasteners (6 locations). 1) Remove the shroud.

 (5)  In the forward lavatory, if there is not sufficient clearance to remove the filter assembly around the rubber shroud just above it, do the steps that follow.
 (a)  
Go to the attendants panel that is installed on the outer wall of the forward lavartory.

 (b)  
Remove the screw from the recess at the top of the panel and pull the top of the panel aft.

 NOTE: The bottom of the Attendants panel is hinged.

 (c)  Go into the forward lavatory and push the rubber shroud aft to get the necessary clearance.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the timer to the motor.

 (7)  
Remove the wire bundle clamps if it is necessary.

Disconnect the bonding jumper at the ground stud on the motor.

Remove the nuts and the washers (6 places) that hold the filter assembly on the tank.

 (10)
 Remove the filter assembly from the mounting bracket.

 (11)
 Remove the gasket from the mounting bracket.

Put the new gasket above the bolts on the mounting bracket.

Install the filter assembly on the mounting bracket.

 (3)  
Install the washers, the nuts and the grommets and tighten from 12 to 15 pound-inches.

Install the flush lines on the filter assembly.

Install the clamp.

 (6)  
Connect the bonding jumper.

 NOTE: The mounting bolts, the washers, the nuts, and the faying
____ surfaces for the bonding jumper must be clean to give a sufficient electrical ground.
