 (1)  Do these steps to adjust the bullet catch on the trigger:
 (a)  Push and hold the trigger to the top (MIC) position to get access to the bullet catch.
 NOTE: You will need to push the trigger to the bottom (INT)
____ position to check the adjustments. Push the trigger to the top (MIC) position to make the adjustments.
 (b)  
Turn the bullet catch clockwise with the adjusting wrench until the ball no longer makes contact with the detent plate when you push the trigger to the INT position.

 (c)  
Turn the bullet catch counterclockwise until the ball just makes contact with the detent plate when you push the trigger to the INT position.

 (d)  
Turn the bullet catch counterclockwise 1/4 turn.

 NOTE: Do not extend the bullet catch further than 0.078 inch
____ from the trigger. If the PTT switch will not stay in the detented position when the bullet catch is fully extended, then it may be necessary to replace the detent plate or switch mount, depending on the installation.

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Do these steps to prepare for test:

 (a)  
Push the microphone selector switch for the flight interphone system on both audio selector panels to the on position.

 (b)  
Push the volume control for the flight interphone selector switch to the on position.

 (c)  
Turn the volume control for the flight interphone microphone selector switch to the middle position.

 (d)  
Push the speaker volume control switch to the on position.

 (e)  
Turn the speaker volume control switch to the middle position or to the volume level you are comfortable with.

 (3)  Do a Test of the Installed PTT Switch:
 (a)  
Push and hold the PTT switch on the control wheel to the MIC position.

 (b)  
Speak into the pilot's boom microphone. 1) Make sure you hear the voice clearly on the headsets.

 (c)  
Release the PTT switch. 1) Make sure the switch goes to the center (off) position.

 (d)  
Push and hold the PTT switch on the control wheel to the INT position.

 (e)  
Speak into the pilot's boom microphone. 1) Make sure you hear the voice clearly on the headsets.

 (f)  
Release the PTT switch. 1) AIRPLANES WITHOUT DETENT PTT SWITCH; Make sure the switch returns to the center (off) position.

 2)  AIRPLANES WITH DETENT PTT SWITCH; Do these steps: a) Make sure the PTT switch remains in the INT position.
