3. Fault Confirmation

 A. Reset of the PES System
 (1) On the audio panel (123RH) of the Forward Attendant Panel (120RH) (FAP) push the PES ON/OFF membrane switch to de-energize the PES.

 (2) On the audio panel (123RH) of the FAP (120RH) push the PES ON/OFF membrane switch to energize the PES.

 NOTE : The maximum PES (music) power-on initialization time is up to
____ 10 minutes. This includes the transfer of the seat layout from the CIDS CAM.
 B. Do the bite test of the cabin intercommunication data system (CIDS) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-003).

 4. Fault Isolation

R A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble R shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
 B. If the test gives the two maintenance messages 23-33-54/BUS M-SR and 23-33-54/BUS M-SL:
 - replace the MUX-PES, MAIN (8MK) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-31-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-31-400-001).
 C. If the test gives the maintenance message 23-33-54/BUS M-SR:
 - make sure that a SEB TERMINATOR (101MKxx) is connected to the SEAT ELECTRONIC BOX (100MKxx) (SEB) in the first seat row on the right side of the cabin.
 (1) If that is true:
 - do a check for the functional condition and the correct installation of the SEB TERMINATOR (101MKxx) on the SEB (100MKxx) in the first seat row on the right side of the cabin (Ref. ASM 23-33/03).
 (a) If the fault continues and:
 1 If another/other SEB TERMINATOR(s) (101MKxx) is/are connected
_ to a/the WALL DISCONNECT BOX(es) (50MKx) (WDB) in line to the MUX-PES, MAIN (8MK)
 - repeat the check above on that/these SEB TERMINATOR(s) (101MKxx) (Ref. ASM 23-33/03).
 (b) If the fault continues:
 - do a continuity check on all SEBs (100MKxx) on the right side of the cabin from the first seat row to the seat row next to the WDB (50MKx) that serves the SEBs (100MKxx) above between:
 - the SEB (100MKxx) connector J1/6 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector J2/6.

 - the SEB (100MKxx) connector J1/5 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector J2/5.

 - the SEB (100MKxx) connector J1/7 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector J2/7.

 - the SEB (100MKxx) connector J1/8 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector J2/8.

 1 If there is no continuity in a SEB:
_
 - replace that SEAT ELECTRONIC BOX (100MKxx) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-46-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-46-400-001).

 (c) If the fault continues:

 - do a check and repair as necessary the wiring between the checked SEBs (100MKxx) (Ref. ASM 23-33/03):
 - the SEB (100MKxx) connector P1/6 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector P2/6.

 - the SEB (100MKxx) connector P1/5 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector P2/5.

 - the SEB (100MKxx) connector P1/7 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector P2/7.

 - the SEB (100MKxx) connector P1/8 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector P2/8.

 (d) If the fault continues:

 - do a check and repair as necessary the wiring between the SEB (100MKxx) nearest to the WDB (50MKx) that serves the checked SEB(s) (100MKxx) and that WDB (50MKx) (Ref. ASM 23-33/03):
 - the WDB (50MKx) connector P1/6 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector P2/6.

 - the WDB (50MKx) connector P1/5 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector P2/5.

 - the WDB (50MKx) connector P1/7 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector P2/7.

 - the WDB (50MKx) connector P1/8 and the SEB (100MKxx) connector P2/8.

 (e) If the fault continues:

 - do a check and repair as necessary the wiring between all WDBs (50MKx) from the WDB (50MKx) that serves the checked SEB(s) (100MKxx) and the WDB (50MKx) next to the MUX-PES, MAIN (8MK) (Ref. ASM 23-33/02):
 - the WDB (50MKx) connector A/13 and the WDB (50MKx) connector D/13.

 - the WDB (50MKx) connector A/8 and the WDB (50MKx) connector D/8.

 - the WDB (50MKx) connector A/1 and the WDB (50MKx) connector D/1.

 - the WDB (50MKx) connector A/2 and the WDB (50MKx) connector D/2.

 (f) If the fault continues:
