Apply a small quantity of COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) to the contact faces of the retaining cables (11).

Put the packings (16) in position on the condensor (22) and on the
air cycle machine (17).

Put the sleeve (14) in position on the air cycle machine (17).
(5)
Put the sleeve (10) in position on the coupling (12).
(6)
Put the packing (21) in position on the condensor (22).
(7)
Put the condensor (22) in position and install the support rods (72B) and (73).
(8)
Install the bushings (31), (where fitted the washers (30)), the bolts (29), the washers (33) and the nuts (34).
(9)
Install the clamp (20).
(10)
Make sure that the clamp (20) is in the correct position.
(11)
TORQUE the clamp (20) to between 0.51 and 0.56 m.daN (45.13 and 49.55 lbf.in).
(12)
Move the sleeve (14) in position over the packings (16) and install the half clamps (13) and the clamp (15).
(13)
TORQUE the clamp (15) to between 0.28 and 0.38 m.daN (24.77 and 33.62 lbf.in) and safety with annealed stainless-steel lockwire, diameter
0.5 mm (0.0196 in.) MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-009).

Move the sleeve (10) in position on the condensor (22).

(15) Put the retaining cables (11) in position and install the new washers
(7) and the new nuts (6).
NOTE : Hold the hexagon part of the retaining cables (11) to prevent
____ twisting of the cables when you install the nuts (6).
(16) TORQUE the nuts (6) to between 0.85 and 1.0 m.daN (75.22 and 88.49 lbf.in) and wipe clean the excess COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) from the retaining cables (11).
NOTE : Hold the hexagon part of the retaining cables (11) to prevent
____ twisting of the cables when you torque the nuts (6). Make sure that there is no tension in the cables (11). This will give a safe and flexible connection.

Put the sleeve (23) in position on the condensor (22) and install the clamp (24).
(18)
Make sure that the clamp (24) is in the correct position.
(19)
TORQUE the clamp (24) to 0.28 m.daN (24.77 lbf.in).
(20)
Connect the sense lines (3), (8), and (18).
(21)
TORQUE the sense lines (3), (8), and (18) to between 0.9 and 0.915 m.daN (79.64 and 80.97 lbf.in).
(22)
Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (27).

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other

C. Installation of the Condensor NOTE : Turn the sleeves (10) and (14) when you move them or when you
____ install them. This will help to prevent damage to the internal seals or packings. Do an inspection of the sleeve (23) for damage, wear, blisters in the material and seperation of the material from the wire reinforcement.

If necessary replace the sleeve (Ref. TASK 21-52-43-000-001) and
(Ref. TASK 21-52-43-400-001):

Make sure that the anti-ice valve sense-lines are in a good condition (Ref. TASK 21-52-00-200-003).
(2)
Prepare the attachment components for installation,
(a)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(b)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(c)
Apply a small quantity of:
-COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-007)
or
-LUBRICANTS (Material No. 06-007) to the new packing (16) and packing (21), and to the new seal

before you install them.
NOTE : The material 04-007 is a molybdenum disulfide powder.
____ Before you can apply it you must first make it into a paste. To do this you must mix the powder with pure water or white spirit.
NOTE : The material 06-007 is applied dry.

Put the new seals (9) in position in the sleeve (10) (Ref. TASK 20-26-00-910-002).
