 (1) The identification of the proximity switches is as follows:

 13WV1 for the L FWD passenger/crew door

 (b)
 13WV2 for the R FWD passenger/crew door

 (c)
 17WV1 for the L AFT passenger/crew door

 (d) 17WV2 for the R AFT passenger/crew door Subtask 52-70-00-010-051
 B. Get Access
 (1)
 Put the access platform in position at the applicable passenger/crew door 831 or 841 or 832 or 842.

 (2)
 Open the applicable passenger/crew door (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-010-001).

 (3)
 Obey the special precautions before you start work on the door (Ref. TASK 52-10-00-860-001).

 (2) Remove the insulation blankets.
 4. Procedure

 Subtask 52-70-00-040-050
 A. Check of the Defective Proximity Switch
 (1)
 Clean the defective proximity switch with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-010) and MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003).

 (2)
 If the fault continues:

 (a) Replace the defective proximity switch.
 1 If a new proximity switch is available:
_
 -Remove the defective proximity switch (Ref. TASK 52-71-11-000-001).
 -Install the new proximity switch (Ref. TASK 52-71-11-400-001).
 2 If no proximity switch is available, replace the defective
_ proximity switch by a proximity switch of the avionics compartment doors.
 -Do a check of the proximity switch you will remove. To do this, do a test of the door warning system of the related avionics compartment doors (Ref. TASK 52-71-00-710-001).
 -Remove the proximity switch of the avionics compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-71-14-000-001).
